CLOSER IN THE DARK

THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG

Sometimes a single glance changes everything.

The world slows down. The noise fades away. And suddenly, being close to someone feels like finding a place you have been searching for all your life.

Closer In The Dark tells the story of two people discovering that connection. It explores the courage to open your heart, surrender to your feelings and trust someone enough to let them in.

Because sometimes the strongest feelings are found in the quietest moments.

🎤 CLOSER IN THE DARK – LYRICS

Hold me in the calm before the break

Let the night lean in and listen

I met your eyes in the low glow

And everything slowed down

Your touch was a quiet language

That my body understood

I was drifting, then you found me

Soft as a summer rain

Now every breath feels closer

And I don't want to leave this frame

Stay with me tonight

Closer in the dark

Every beat is pulling me

Straight into your heart

Closer, closer now

Let the world fall apart

Stay with me tonight

Closer in the dark

Every word you leave behind

Follows me through the dark

Like a hand against my skin

Like a spark against my heart

I try to keep my balance

But you sway me out of time

And the more I try to let go

The more you stay inside my mind

Stay with me tonight

Closer in the dark

Every beat is pulling me

Straight into your heart

Closer, closer now

Let the world fall apart

Stay with me tonight

Closer in the dark

If we fall, let it be slow

Let the silence turn to gold

I am open, I am ready

For the story to unfold

Take my hand into the dawn

Lead me where the light has grown

I was lost until this moment

Now I know where I belong
